After only a year in top flight competition, Olomouc are relegated to the second league despite thrashing Teplice 6:0 while Příbram played out a goalless draw against Jablonec. At Eden, Slavia thrashed Plzeň 5:0 and Sparta also beat Jihlava 5:0, all goals coming from striker David Lafata. Lafata scored 20 goals this season to leave him top of the table of strikers for the fifth time. Liberec secured third place in the league with a 2:2 draw with Mláda Boleslav.
