Plzeň, Sparta and Slavia take on the bottom teams in the table
On Saturday, Plzeň take on Olomouc, Baník travel to Slavia on Sunday and the last match of 19th round sees Dukla battle it out with Sparta. Teplice face Liberec.
FC Fastav Zlín - FK Mladá
Boleslav (Saturday, 15.00)
The
round kicks off with the match between Zlín and Boleslav. Zlín will be motivated going into the match
having lost their first two matches of the spring season. They went down 2:1 to Sparta in the opening
round and lost 3:0 last week to Baník. Boleslav are third in the table and will prove tenacious opponents as
they fight for a place in European competition next season.
1. FK Příbram - Bohemians
1905 (Saturday, 15.00)
Příbram,
in their second home match in a row, welcome Bohemains 1905. In their last round match against Slovácko,
Příbram went down 1:0 with a goal from Došek in the last minute of the
game. Bohemians have not lost a match
so far this season, drawing with Olomouc in the opening round and beating Dukla
last weekend.
1. FC Slovácko - FC
Vysočina Jihlava (Saturday, 15.00)
After
their win over Příbram last week, Slovácko moved into the middle of the
table. Their oppenents, Jihlava managed
a goalless draw against Slavia in the last round and are currently one point
above the relegation zone. Both teams
have the worst defensive record in the league, having condeded 33 goals ecah so
far this season.
FK Teplice - FC Slovan
Liberec (Saturday, 15.00)
Looking
at the table standings, Slovan should bet the favourites going into their match
with Liberec. However, the statistics
may prove otherwise. Teplice have won
only one match away from home this season.
Teplice will be looking to avenge their 2:0 defeat at the hands of their
rivals in the spring season.
FK Jablonec - FC Zbrojovka
Brno (Saturday, 15.00)
In
the last round, Brno saw a return to scoring form as they beat Olomouc 2:0
while Jablonec continued their shaky from with a 3:2 loss to Liberec. Brno come into the match without Řezníček,
who is suspended. Should Jablonec win,
they will move ahead of Brno in the table.
SK Sigma Olomouc - FC
Viktoria Plzeň (Saturday, 18.00)
Sigma’s
match with Plzeň
should throw up no surprises, with Plzeň leading the league on 44 points and
looking to defend their title. Under
coaching duo, Krejci - Horváth, Olomouc will certainly put up a fight, but it
is going to require a heroic performance from the team to walk away with a
resutl.
SK Slavia Praha - FC Baník
Ostrava (Sunday, 17.30)
On
Sunday, Baník travel to Slavia. In the
last round, Slavia could only manage a disappointing draw with Jihlava while
Ostrava comfortably beat Zlín 3:0. The
question is if Slavia can rise to the occasion in front of their hoome fans, or
will Ostrava surprise again?
FK Dukla Praha - AC Sparta
Praha (Monday, 18.00)
The
last match of the round sees Dukla take on Sparta. Sparta come into the match on a high, having qualified for the last
16 of the Europa liga when they beat Krasnodar 3:0. Dukla go into the match on the back of a 1:0 defeat last week
against Bohemians and look unlikely to surprise.
