SUMMARY: Of the first five top teams, only Liberec fail to

The first round of the spring season offered some interesting matches. Of the first five top teams in the league, only Liberec failed to get a result as they lost to Dukla. Plzeň remain top of the table after they beat Slovácko while at the bottom of the table Olomouc drew with Bohemians.

SUMMARY: Of the first five top teams, only Liberec fail to

The spring season kicked off with the duel between Dukla and Liberec.  Lukáš Hroššo appeared against his former team as Dukla notched up a 2:0 victory.  Liberec are missing Josef Šural, who moved to Sparta in the winter break.  Sparta travelled to Zlín, where they found themselves 1:0 down going into the break.

In the second-half, Brabec equalised for the Prague side, with Šural then grabbing his first goal for Sparta to make it 2:1.  Jablonec moved to seventh in the league after they beat rivals Jihlava 2:0.

Goals were also in abundance in the game between Olomouc and Bohemians.  Both teams are struggling towards the bottom of the table.  Bohemians found themselves 1:0 up going into the break, but Olomouc turned the match round in the second-half.  The match finally finished in a 2:2 draw.

Teplice walked away with the three points as they beat Příbram 2:0.  Slavia were also in fine form as they emerged 2:0 winners over Brno in front of 12,000 spectators at Eden. Baník contined their beyond miserable season as they lost 3:0 to Boleslav, with Milan Baroš grabbing two of the goals.

Plzeň took three points at Slovácko, thanks to two goals from Daniel Kolář.  Slovácko managed to pull one back in the second-half through a penalty from Kebr.  Plzeň are still three points clear of Sparta at the top of the table.
