    Plzeň capitalised on Sparta’s loss to Slovácko in 23rd round of the league as they beat Jihlava 2:0. Sparta still have a game in hand with Dukla.

    Plzeň opened the scoring through Jan Kovařík, with Daniel Kolář adding their second goal in the second-half. Viktoria won their twelfth match in a row, but top striker Michal Ďuriš was also injured in the match. 

    Sparta, missing several mainstays of the team, lost 2:0 to Slovácko to end their run of seven league matches without defeat. The loss complicates their battle with Plzeň in the race for the title. Slovácko’s goals came Francis Koné in 5th minute and Eldar Civič in 59th minute.

    Mladá Boleslav are currently three points ahead of Liberec in the league after their 3:2 win over Příbram. Příbram fouund themselves 2:0 up thanks to an own goal from Ondřej Kúdela and a goal from Roman Bednář. Boleslav leveled the score through Jana Kalabiška and an own goal from Tomáš Zápotočný. The winner came from a free kick from Jakub Rada. 

    Fourth place Liberec won 1:0 at Bohemians thanks to a goal just before half-time from Ghanian Issac Sackey. The loss ends Bohemians run of seven matches without defeat.

    Slavia made up for their 3:1 defeat at the hands of Sparta with a 1:0 win over rivals Dukla. The only goal of the game came through an own goal from Lukáš Štetiny. Sixth place Brno won 1:0 against Teplice, with Jakub Řezníček scoring from the penalty spot. Brno recorded their first away win after five matches.

    Jablonec beat Zlín 3:1. Jablonec took the lead through Lukáš Masopust, with Zlín equalizing before the break with a goal from Lukáš Holík. After the break, Jablonec added two more goals thanks to Ondřej Mihálik a Vít Beneš. Jablonec recorded their first win after three rounds while Zlín have now lost six of their last seven matches.

    Olomouc thrashed opponents Ostrava 6:2 on Friday. In 67th minute, the match was level 2:2, but after that Ostrava collapsed conceding four more goals. The victory was Olomouc’s first win in seven matches, bringing them within three points of Jihlava.  Baník are still firmly bottom of the table.
