SUMMARY: Koubek and Plzeň still struggling

Plzeň let go coach Miroslav Koubek after they could only manage a 2:2 draw with rivals Teplice. Conversely, Zdeněk Zlámal had cause for celebration as he became the first goalkeeper to score a goal in the history of the SYNOT liga.

SUMMARY: Koubek and Plzeň still struggling

Mladá Boleslav twice levelled the score in their game with Sparta with goals from Lukáš Vacha and David Lafata being answered by Jíří Skalák and Ondřej Zahustel.  However, Costa made it 3:2 for Sparta before Lafata put the game out of reach with his second goal.  Sparta have now beaten Boleslav for the sixth time in a row in the league.

Viktoria threw away a two goal lead in their match against Liberec, eventually drawing the match 2:2.  Plzeň went into the break 2:0 up thanks to goals from Jan Beránek and Jan Kopic.  However, Liberec reduced the deficit with a penalty from Martin Fillo, grabbing the equaliser in the last minute through Michael Lüftner.  Plzeň have now failed to win in their last four matches.

Zlín came back from their defeat at the hands of Sparta in the last round with a 2:0 win over Moravian rivals Ostrava.  The match was decided with two goals from Tomáš Poznar. The hero of the round was Bohemians keeper, Zlámal, who scored the equaliser in their game against Dukla.  Dukla went into the break 2:0 up thanks to two goals from Tomáš Berger.

Josef Jindříšek pulled one back for Bohemians from the penalty spot in 72nd minute before Zlámal grabbed the equaliser with a header in the last minute of the game.  Bohemians have now drawn three of their last four matches.

Newcomers to the league, Olomouc, walked away with a 1:1 draw against opponents Brno.  Brno took the lead in 68th minute through Pavel Zavadil before Tomáš Chorý equalised seven minutes from the end for Olomouc.

Slovan led in their match against Jablonec with a Kevin Luckassen goal in 42nd minute of the game.  Jablonec had to wait until the very last minute of the game for the equalizer from Vít Beneš.  Liberec remain the only unbeaten team in the league along with Sparta, who they trail by four points.

Slavia ended their series of five matches without a win as they thumped Jihlava 4:0.  Slavia were 2:0 up at half time with goals from Milan Škoda a Simon Deli.  In the second-half, Tomáš Souček added their third and Milan Škoda their fourth with his second goal of the game.

Slovácko beat Příbram 2:1.  Příbram took the lead in 23rd minute through Jan Rezek.  However, Slovácko turned things round in the second-half with two late goals from Vlastimil Daníčk and Marián Kovář to walk away with the three points.
