Shock at Dukla! Striker Pospěch leaves Dukla to play for Cottbus
Dukla Praha will play next season without top scorer Zbyněk Pospěch, who has agreed terms with third division Cottbus in the German league.

Pospěch will be sorely missed by Dukla next season, leaving them without a key player in their offensive lineup.
‘’Zbyněk expressed an interest in our club and he knows exactly what he wants. We were looking for a combination of experience, confidence and scoring ability and we found it in him,’’ said Roland Benschneider, sports director of Cottbus.
The 31-year-old striker has been a mainstay of the Dukla squad over the last two years. In the past, he played for Slovácko, Liberec and last season Slavia. He scored 16 gaols last season, finishing second with Sparta captain David Lafata in the strikers’ table.
In the SYNOT league, he has played 192 games, with 57 goals and 13 assists.
Last season, Cottbus were relegated to the third division. The last player to play for Cottbus was striker Martin Fenin from 2011 to 2012.PHOTO: ČTK
