Slavia extend contract with striker Hrubý until 2018
Nineteen year-old striker, Robert Hrubý, extended his contract on Tuesday, which will see him stay at the club until summer 2018. The management of the club has assured their young players that they will get the chance to play after the arrival of new coach Alex Pastoor. Hrubý’s contract was due to exprire at the end of this year.
"He is a
product of our youth academy and we want to gradually bring our young players
through the ranks. We see it as
confirmation of the new direction, which Slavia want to go," said Sports
Director, Karol Kisel.
Hrubý started the
spring season well, scoring against Olomouc in the opening round of the
league. New coach Alex Pastoor
immediately included Hrubý in the starting line-up in their matches with
Teplice and Znojmo.
