1st round: Sparta draw with Bohemians, Slavia beat Teplice
The biggest surprise of the first round was draw 1:1 in the match of Sparta and Bohemians. Team of Andrey Stramaccioni hesitated right at the starting match, while Slavia smashed Teplice on the home ground and Plzeň beat up Dukla.
Sparta went to lead in match with Bohemians, but after the penalty shot of David Lafata did
not score anymore. It was stopper Michal Šmíd who scored for Bohemians two
minutes before the end.
Slavia did not hesitate and scored over Teplice 1:0 on the home ground. Halil Altintop scored by penalty goal in Eden.
Plzeň beaten Dukla 4:0. Lukáš Hejda, Patrik Hrošovský, Michael Krmenčík a Tomáš Hořava scored at the first half of playing time. Coach of Viktoria Pavel Vrba had the great comeback to czech football league.
Mladá Boleslav lost 1:2 with Olomouc. Zlín lost 0:1 in Liberec, playing in nine after Petr Jiráček was injured and Ibrahim Traore was excluded from the game.
Karviná took victory 2:0 with Jihlava. Slovácko took draw 1:1 with Jablonec and Baník Ostrava took three points for the victory of 3:1 over Brno. Milan Baroš scored for Baník Ostrava.
