19th round: Slavia celebrate victory in the match of the spring
Match of the spring was played during the last weekend and thanks to the goal of Michal Frydrych from 88th minute against team Plzeň, Slavia won and get to the top of the league table.
Only seven goals total were scored during this last round, which is the least at modern
history of the league.
Only in the match Liberec - Příbram (2:1) more than one goal was scored, other three matches had the same result - 1:0.
Jihlava, hardly fighting for their survive, were defeated by Teplice. Sparta defeated Dukla in the match of teams from capital city, thanks to the goal of Josef Šural.
Zlín strived to stay within top four teams of the table and ensure their participation in European cups. However, their performance is deeply beyond expectations. This time they fell down on the playground of well playing Karviná.
The shooters were silent during the remaining three matches and did not make a mark. Slovácko shared one point with their rival from Brno, Zbrojovka. Jablonec did not strike up the win from last round against Sparta and during their second match on their home playground made just a draw with Bohemians. Hradec Králové presented a tight game and played a draw with Mladá Boleslav.
